A visit to the BIG city!!

Yesterday I had another dentist appointment in the early afternoon so Ben and I decided to go into downtown Salt Lake to meet my mom for lunch before my appointment.  Once we were downtown, Benjamin's eyes got huge and he had to ask me what every building was and what was in the buildings.  It was so cute.  I soon realized that the only time he's really seen downtown Salt Lake is when we have been on Trax.  He was having a great time riding around in the car where he could obviously see more.  Once we arrived at my mom's office building, got our lunch, and went back to her office employee lounge, Ben was able to look out the big windows and watch the construction workers working on the City Creek project. He was fascinated the entire hour!  He loved the cranes and ladders. He talked about the tall buildings and all the big machinery for at least an hour or so after we left. He was actually upset that we had to leave Grandma and leave the big buildings.  I guess we'll have to venture out more!!
