Piano Lessons and Am I Fired?
Austin started piano lessons back in December. He is doing wonderful with it and really enjoys it. I think every student has trouble with practicing....Austin included. He hates to practice but once he has played for a few minutes he enjoys it and won't get OFF the piano (keyboard). It's pretty funny. Anyway, I've been getting after him all week to get his practicing done. Tonight I asked him when he was planning on practicing today. He looked at me and said in a tearful voice, "If I don't, am I fired? LOL. I just started laughing. I was nice and told him nobody was going to fire him but that he needs to practice if he want to be even better at playing. ADORABLE!!

Bird or Duck???
The last week or so our cute little bird has been loosing her tail feathers. I thought she was sick or something. She has been extra agitated and not eating as much. I kept telling Kent that maybe she is having her "cycle" or something. After being worried about her for a week. I talked to Stacie and she informed that she is now 6 months old and will start molting. She may loose more than her tail. She still loves her mommy and likes to cuddle and kiss me. Here are a few pics of her "duck butt" and then her posing for the camera....

Christmas 2008
So, I'm a little late updating....okay, a lot late but here are some pictures of Christmas this year. We had our traditional Christmas Eve Family Night at my parents. We told the Christmas story, read other stories, and then had a vocal solo performed by Mark and accompanied by Annie on the violin. It was very nice. Afterwards we traveled to Kent's parents in Grantsville. We spent Christmas Eve there so we could beat the snow storm coming in on Christmas Day. Christmas day was a lot of fun for the kids. We had a nice breakfast with Kent's family. In the afternoon we went to my parents and had Christmas dinner. It is so nice being with family on the holidays!!!
