Dentist's Office

It has been a fairly uneventful week. Today I took Austin to the dentist to get some dental work done. They ended up doing two root canals with crowns put on them and filling another cavity. I feel so bad for him. I don't like the dentist office we decided to take him to. They aren't very good with kids. The first time I took Austin and Cameron they made me feel like my kids have the worst teeth on the planet and I being their mother should know better. They also aren't very informative and they don't follow through with phone calls, etc. I decided to go ahead and keep Austin's appointment for today but then I'm going to just take them to my family dentist in Salt Lake. I like him much better. I should have just taken them there to begin with. I think Austin has at least two more visits left to finish his dental work and Cameron has A LOT!! They are going to have to put him to sleep to do his work. There is no way he will hold still!!

Other than that, not too much going on here. I'm getting my Scentsy business up and going and I'm really excited about it. Kent is still loving his new job and Benjamin just keeps growing. I will have to post new pictures in the next couple of days.

What a week!!

It's been a pretty crazy week at the Green Household.

Last Thursday we had to find a new babysitter for Cameron and Benjamin while I go to work. The weekend was mostly spent trying to get paperwork together for her. The kids are pretty excited to go there and so am I. She is right by my work and she seems really nice.

Last Friday Austin went on a field trip with his class to the Children's Discovery Museum at the Gateway. I got to go with him to chaperone. Austin had a blast! He really wants to go again. I think it would be fun to take all the boys. I was going to take a few pictures but never got to so I want to go back to take some.

On Saturday we went and met our family friend, Teresa, for lunch in Salt Lake. The kids enjoyed seeing her again. It's been awhile since we saw her last.

Sunday our neighbor came over for dinner after church. It was good to see her again too. She used to come over every day to visit but hasn't the past little while.

Tuesday, Kent started his new job with Convergys. He seems to really like it so far. I'm excited for the steady income.

This morning, the boys got their first experience at the dentist's office. I feel like a bad mom since I haven't taken them sooner. Austin and Cameron both have a lot of work to be done. They have a ton of cavities. Cameron will have to go to the hospital and be put under anesthesia in order for them to do all his work. I feel so bad!!!! The dentist said to completely cut out soda (they have a lot of it) and cut down on their candy intake. It's going to be fun. Austin gets to go back next week to get some of his cavities filled. I hope everything works out. I'm totally going to crack down on their teeth brushing and their sugar intake.

That about does it for the week! I'll have to post some new pictures. I took a cute one of Benjamin yesterday trying to hide behind our blinds. :)

The First Haircut

Austin had his first haircut when he was 4 months old. He was born with a ton of hair. Cameron was about 9 months when he had his first haircut. Benjamin had his first hair cut LAST NIGHT at 11 months old. For some reason I've had a hard time wanting to cut his hair. He was starting to look pretty scraggly so I decided it was time. Uncle Mark always gives my boys their first hair cuts and they LOVE when he cuts their hair. They are so good for him. Anyway, Benjamin was enjoying this new experience until his nose started itching and then he screamed!! I have pictures but I took them with my mom's camera so I will have to wait to get them posted. Once Austin and Cameron saw that Uncle Mark was cutting Benjamin's hair, they of course had to get their hair cuts, too. They all look so cute!! I will post pictures later.
