The acrobat gets a tooth pulled....

Cameron had to have an infected tooth pulled today. The last time he had work done we had to take him to Primary Children's Hospital to be put under while they did the work. This time the dentist used laughing gas in the office. I couldn't believe how hyper Cameron got on the laughing gas. He couldn't sit still. The dentist told me sometimes that happens in kids. Their legs tingle and feel funny so they have to keep them moving. Cameron did really well when they got in there to pull the tooth but waiting and staying still was IMPOSSIBLE! I thought he was going to flip head first onto the floor. I didn't know he could move and stretch his legs into positions he was doing. At one point he had his legs going and was complaining that his nose itched (it was numb). Lets just say we were both grateful when the dentist came in and even though Cameron is doing great, I don't think he wants to go back to the dentist anytime soon.

Sleeping angels?

I just had to catch this photo before they woke up and the noise started....I thought it was so precious. Austin and Cameron usually play really well together but they also tease and fight like normal brothers. I was surprised to find them like this this morning....asleep in the chair.

Happy Birthday, Austin!!

Yesterday was Austin's 9th birthday! Can't believe it. I feel sooo old!! lol. I am so proud to be Austin's mom. He is such a good boy and such a good help to me. I LOVE him so much! We had a little get together for cake and ice cream and opening of presents. Austin really wanted Transformer stuff and he wasn't disappointed. He had a GREAT birthday!

Cars, Cars, & MORE cars!!!

This is like the 3rd post I've made today so if you are interested, make sure to check my older posts.

The other day I walked past a very messy bedroom to see that Austin and Benjamin were playing with their "little cars". It was a definitely a sight to see. This picture shows some of what I saw....this isn't even the beginning of their "car collection".

Pioneer Crossing Bridge in A.F.

On Friday night and Sunday night construction crews were putting in new bridges that will be part of the Pioneer Crossing from American Fork to Saratoga Springs. The bridges go across I-15. I decided to take my two younger boys to see part of it. This was all done during the middle of the night from like 10pm to 3am. Yes.....I'm crazy but it was still fun!

Here is a video. The bridge really is moving on hydraulic rollers at a VERY SLOW pace.

Memorial Weekend

Memorial Weekend in Pocatello, ID was a lot of fun this year! It was full of visiting deceased loved ones, lots of swimming, Pocatello zoo, and family fun time playing games and visiting. I really look forward to this yearly tradition. Many of my dearest childhood memories took place on Memorial weekend. I'm happy to continue that tradition with my kids.

We left early Saturday morning to visit the graves in UT. I didn't get pictures of all of them but our last grave was to David's......

I honestly don't remember what time we got to the hotel but shortly after getting checked in we all went swimming.....

I love the color of the water!

mom didn't go swimming this time so I had to get a picture of her watching....

The next couple of pictures are of my kids playing in our hotel room Saturday night...

On Sunday after breakfast we decided to play some games in my parents hotel room. This is a pic of cute baby Kelvin enjoying his fists.

After a couple of hours of playing games we all headed to get some lunch and to Pocatello zoo.

I have never seen a live male turkey (Tom). I thought he was so pretty!

Austin & Jessica searching for fossils...

A very hungry coyote...

Some of the older kids at the zoo....bison in background...

This exhibit was actually closed. The baby red fox was injured so the zoo keepers brought it over for us to look at.

We found a place we could all take some family pictures....This is a great one of my mom & dad!

Baby Kelvin's head is in the bottom of the pic. I accidentally cut him out. :-(

This was a black bear that was trying to sleep. I caught him as he was yawning. VERY BIG MOUTH!

This grizzly was sound asleep until we woke him up. He decided to see what the commotion was about. What big CLAWS you have.....

I didn't know porcupines knew how to climb trees. He looks so comfortable!

Since I cut this cutie out of the family pic...Had to snap another one of him.
all the kiddies in front of the tp

The petting zoo....Kent and Ben petting the donkey.

Austin trying to make friends with a very mean cow!

playing on the playground...

After the zoo we went to Pocatello cemetary. I caught this adorable picture of Mark and his little girl Sydney.

After we got back to the hotel, Kent decided to take our boys swimming again.

We left before the rest of the family. We left EARLY Monday morning so we could make it to Grantsville, UT to see Kent's dads grave....Here is a pic of Kent and his mom and the boys in front of his grave.
