Dance Festival

Today was Austin's and Cameron's dance festival at school and the last day of school. (well....they are supposed to go tomorrow but I'm not making them go) The kids practice their dances starting in April and work real hard for their performance. They all did a great job. I thought my boys' dances were the best but I'm not predjudice or anything. :) Here are a few pics I took of the boys before the dance started. I took video of their performances but the file is too large to put on here so as soon as I figure out how to make it smaller, I'll post those. I also took a picture of each of them with their teachers. I think these two women are some of the best teachers out there. I wish my boys could just keep them throughout all their school years.

Austin and Mrs. Kawakami. Every time I think of Austin not being in her class anymore...I want to cry. She has been truly amazing for Austin. She is a wonderful teacher!

Cameron and Mrs. Seibach. Another amazing teacher. Austin also had her for a kindergarten teacher. I can't believe the progess Cameron has made in her class! Both my boys have gotten pretty much straight A's!

Rumpus in the Rainforest

Austin's 3rd grade class put on a little play today called, "Rumpus in the Rain Forest". He and the rest of his class did a great job. Austin played the part of Explorer. Since you can't hear anything in the video clip, his part said, "Oh, I can't wait to find it!". They also sang lots of cute songs! After the play his teacher handed out class awards. Austin got the "most determined" person in the class. I've really enjoyed Austin's teacher this year. She has been SOOO good for him. She just got Teacher of the Year at the school!
