Annual Idaho Trip

Since my mom is from Idaho, my family goes up every year to visit the graves of family members that have passed away. It has become a favorite family tradition and we enjoy the time away. I didn't take any pictures of the boys swimming like I wanted to but I was enjoying the time away too much to worry about a camera....

On our way home we stopped in Whitney, ID to go see President Ezra Taft Benson's grave. It was pretty cool.

Isaac and Austin helping Uncle Dave clean up the graves

Hmmm... this is a nice seat. I hope this person didn't mind. Ben decided he was tired of this cemetary stuff.

Ben really wishing we could go back to the hotel

Hmmm. This flag is pretty cool. He literally stared at it for about five minutes.

On Saturday we went and goofed around in the mall. We found this kid play land there. The kids loved it!

Austin and Issac really hit it off. They were so cute together!

Reader's Theatre

Austin has had a long day today for the last day of school. He started out the morning with a dance festival. Later in the afternoon he had an Awards Presentation and a Reader's Theatre. He's such a cutie! He's definitely growing up way to fast!

Austin's dance moves

o I haven't blogged for awhile. I still need to post pictures from our little adventure to Idaho last weekend but it will have to wait until tonight or tomorrow. Today Austin had a little dance program at school. They danced their song to The Beach Boys', "Catch a Wave". It was really cute. Austin also had a little Reader's Theatre and Awards Assembly but I was unable to attend because of work. Kent went and took some pictures of that so I will post that later.

Mowing the lawn

We went out to my in laws this past Saturday. Austin kept bugging them to mow their lawn for them. Mind you, their lawn is huge! It takes my father in law two days to mow it in his old age. Austin has decided recently that he loves to mow lawns and especially help Grandpa Haws work. Well, my in-laws decided to let him try it by himself. He did a pretty good job. He missed a few spots but Kent and Cameron went over it again with the riding mower. All three boys were fascinated with mowing the lawn and loved to help Grandma and Grandpa.

Ben had to have a turn too. He was completely fascinated.

My new do!

I decided to break down and cut my hair for the summer. I really like it long and that is what I'm used to but my hair stylist talked me into going short! I love it!

Happy Birthday to me!

Yesterday was my birthday. Yep, I'm getting old. A whopping 32! It was a nice day thanks to the many people who called or emailed me to wish me Happy Birthday and to my wonderful family! Kent has been out of town so he wasn't able to be here. My mom made me a cake and her and my brother came over last night for cake and ice cream. It was really nice. My boys were so excited for another birthday party!! They too, were able to give me some really nice things. Here are a few pics of the evening:My goofy Cameron

All I want for Christmas is......

I know it's too early to think about Christmas. Austin lost his first front tooth tonight. He was so excited. By the time he looses his other front tooth, it might be Christmas time......His tooth has been loose for quite awhile and it finally decided to come tonight. Here are a few pictures we took of the occasion!

My little grocery shopper

Since Benjamin has started walking he has been doing some pretty cute things and some not so cute things. He is getting into a lot more, that's for sure. He has started walking with his grocery cart which is way cute. Here are a few random pictures I've taken of him in the past few days.

I have an Author in my family....

Last week Austin had an "Author's Tea" at his school. All of the 1st graders had written a book (which was published) that they got to present to family. I was unable to go but my mom went to support Austin and get some pictures for me. Austin's book is about Bears. He wrote it himself and drew his own pictures. I'm very proud of him!
