Pumpkin Carving

Last night we went to Macey's and let the boys pick out a pumpkin. We were hoping to make it to an actual pumpkin patch but it's not meant to be this year. (Halloween just kind of snuck up on us) Anyway, we decided it would be a fun family activity after church to carve these pumpkins.  Carving pumpkins has NEVER been my favorite thing to do.  I HATE pumpkin guts. Anyways, anything to make the kids happy. So, here they are cleaning out their HUGE pumpkins!

 Ben really got into it this year. It was so fun to watch.

So, after the gross part of cleaning was done, the boys picked out what they wanted to have carved into their pumpkins. Kent and I helped on this part since trusting our boys with knives might not be the safest idea.  Well, as Kent and I are carving.....the boys take off to watch a movie. FUN.

Austin's pumpkin is a cat, Cameron's pumpkin is a spider (hold on Cameron....don't drop it) , and Ben's is a cute smiley face.

Mom, I'm not tired......

This past weekend was a busy one. Friday and Saturday I had a Pumpkin Walk carnival thing in Stansbury Park. I had to be there at 8am to set up. Since it takes an hour to get there I had to leave my house real early, I had to get my kids up REAL early too. My sister Stacie was nice enough to come with me both days too.  Saturday evening on our way home my boys' eyelids looked VERY heavy. When Stacie asked Benjamin if he was tired. He promptly responded "NO!" Well, not even 5 minutes later......this is what he looked like:

Someone lost his first tooth!!!

The tooth fairy accidentally forgot to come but at the last minute arrived and saved the day while Cameron was using the restroom....
