My silly kids

I got home from work yesterday and this white board was on the outside of our door going into the garage. It's a note from Kent and Austin.... I almost cried when I read what Austin wrote. He doesn't tell me that very often anymore. He's such a sweetheart. It was nice to come home to a semi-clean house.

Benjamin was hiding last night. This is where I found him.... He later discovered that he couldn't get out so he started crying. What a cutie!

The boys were making Benjamin laugh really hard. They were having fun messing up the Go Fish cards.

Easter Morning

Ben with his whistle

Benjamin tried out the whistle. He didn't know it made noise until he actually whistled. Now he loves it!

Even Monkeys Peel Bananas

So a couple of guys at my work got a little bored. They decided to entertain themselves a little bit. They took video of them having some fun and posted it on You Tube. Here it is. I thought it was hilarious....

Happy Easter

Austin the Leprochan

So, Austin comes home from school yesterday and says, "Guess what, Mom?" I say, "what is that Austin." He proceeds to tell me that the "green leprechaun" was coming tonight so we needed to play a trick on him. I was so confused. I've never heard of the Green Leprechaun coming on St. Patricks Day. I guess his teacher told him something at school. Who knows. Anyway, we ended up putting some quarters in a bowl and the "green leprechaun" is supposed to hide them. So, the little green leprechaun visited the green family and hid all 4 quarters and turned our kitchen chairs up against our table to play a trick on us. Austin woke up this morning SO EXCITED!! It was hilarious. He got a little frustrated because he couldn't find the quarters but with sneaky mommy's help, he found them. I've never seen a child so excited for St. Patricks Day. It was so cute. Here is a cute picture of Austin that I took the other day....

Such a Cutie!!

Cameron had some minor surgery today. He went in to Primary Children's where they put him under general anesthesia to do some Dental Restoration. He ended up with 4 root canals with crowns, and 10 fillings. They also said they had to extract a tooth but I can't see it. Anyway, he is such a trooper! He loved riding in a toy car around the hospital and playing in a couple of their many toy rooms during pre-op. He even found a doctors play kit and had to check my ears. He's so funny. He basked in all the attention he got from the dr.'s and nurses. They all loved his beautiful red hair and freckles!! :) When it came time to go back to the O.R., I got to go with to watch them put him under. It was an interesting experience but a hard one for a mother. We counted to ten and then started the ABC's and he was out by the letter C. It was hard to walk out of the room but I was glad he was under such good care. The surgery lasted an hour and a half. When they called me back after he started waking up, the first thing he did was hit me. He was not a happy camper. He was mad that they put an i.v. in his foot. He settled down after awhile and was such a good boy. He got to have a wagon ride out to the car and received a nice toy from the hospital. He has had fun being mommy's little boy today and getting all the attention. I'm so grateful to have such wonderful, beautiful boys!! Here are a few pictures of Cameron after his long day!!

Poor Boys

On Saturday Austin woke up with a very red eye and it was goopy. YUCK! He has had a cold for the past week and I was praying it wasn't pink eye. That stuff is horrible and so contagious! By Sunday morning, it wasn't any better so I took him in and sure enough...it's pink eye. I had pink eye when I was younger and it is so miserable. Sunday night Austin started screaming and he kept at it for about an hour. He said his ear hurt. I had about enough by this point so I gave him some tylenol and ibuprofin and put him to bed early. This morning Benjamin woke up with a puffy eye and it was draining. Oh Brother!! Poor little guys. It's so frustrating when you can't do a whole lot for them. I called the doctor because I wasn't sure if I could give an 11 month old eye drops. They wanted to see Austin and Benjamin so I took them in. It turns out that they both have pink eye and ear infections. Luckily they prescribed oral antibiotics for both of them. Now I hope Cameron doesn't get it. Poor guys!!
