On the 24th of July my ward has a Bishopric's Breakfast with breakfast, a bike parade, and a candy launch. It was a lot of fun this year. The kids had a blast. They especially enjoyed decorating their bikes Wednesday night. After the breakfast in the morning we went to spend the day at my mom's. The 24th is also my Grandma Haws' Birthday so we wanted to celebrate that with her. She turned 75 but still looks young to me. :) I didn't get any pictures of her but I did get a picture of my Uncle Russ who is visiting from Washington.

One of the families brought this pony with a small carriage. It was cute.

Benjamin wasn't sure what to think. He ended up with one piece of candy.

It looks like you guys had a fun 24th. I remember doing bike parades when I was little. They were so exciting. I haven't heard of a candy shoot/blast before. Sounds like fun and something boys would especially like.
