July 4th

We decided since our boys are at a fun age, we would make a big deal out of the 4th. It was really nice and we all enjoyed it and hope to make some new traditions for the 4th. We started our day out by getting up early and seeing the hot air balloon races in Provo, UT. They have some fun balloons and it was cool to see them take off. Afterwards, we went to Grantsville to Kent's parents house. We went to the local parade, which the kids loved, went to the park and rode on rides. Kent loved the car show and the kids loved the rides! After that, we went and took a nap at his parents house. We then had a dutch oven dinner that was yummy!! We watched fireworks that night. In my opinion, Grantsville puts on one of the best firework shows and we get to watch it from his parents back yard!

Austin with his bag of candy. It was full by the time the parade was over! He got more candy than he did at Halloween.

Cameron sitting in his chair waving. He never stopped waving the whole time. It was cute!

Cameron waving again. Oh, and plugging his ear. There's a cute video at the bottom.

Aus and Cam in front of a miniature fire truck at the car show.

Austin riding on the swings.

Benjamin loved the fireworks!

Benjamin watching fireworks or me???

I couldn't get a good shot of the big firework show so this is a lousy picture but you get the idea.

Below is a video I took of the boys at the parade.

What a great thing to do to go to the balloon show. I have always wanted to be to one but never know when they are held. Looks like you had some good family time together.

I bet the kids will remember this for a long time! Nothing like establishing some good family traditions!
