Austin the Leprochan

So, Austin comes home from school yesterday and says, "Guess what, Mom?" I say, "what is that Austin." He proceeds to tell me that the "green leprechaun" was coming tonight so we needed to play a trick on him. I was so confused. I've never heard of the Green Leprechaun coming on St. Patricks Day. I guess his teacher told him something at school. Who knows. Anyway, we ended up putting some quarters in a bowl and the "green leprechaun" is supposed to hide them. So, the little green leprechaun visited the green family and hid all 4 quarters and turned our kitchen chairs up against our table to play a trick on us. Austin woke up this morning SO EXCITED!! It was hilarious. He got a little frustrated because he couldn't find the quarters but with sneaky mommy's help, he found them. I've never seen a child so excited for St. Patricks Day.
